Our first ever Juneteenth reception and fundraiser was a huge success.
One-hundred friends and supporters attended the reception on the lawn at the museum. It was a celebration of the museum, the life of Frederick Douglass, and of the founding of the communities of Highland Beach and Venice Beach.
